Last night the Detroit Tigers were shutout by the Oakland Athletics, so not alot was happening on the offense side for the Detroit Tigers.
The Oakland outfield made some great catches and the pitching staff threw the pitches they needed to throw, including Brett Anderson who pitched a gem after spending much of the season injured.
Tigers could not string runs together losing 2-0.
Detroit faces Oakland again tonight at 9:30 on TNT, not TBS.
Max Scherzer will take the mound after twisting his ankle during the celebration after winning the division.
