Season 11 finalist Jessica Sanchez has been tapped for a recurring role on the hit series “Glee.” The 17-year-old star is currently working on her first CD, and this big news promises to keep her busy for a long time. There are no details about what her role on “Glee” will be, but speculation is swirling about her playing a potential love interest for Finn. In the long history of “American Idol,” a number of alumni from the show have made acting appearances on TV. Here is a look at a few of the most notable stars to return to TV in an acting capacity.
Katharine McPhee
Since finishing in second place during the show’s fifth season, Katharine has seen her career thrive.
