Looking for club-specific Fantasy Premier League tips going into the 2014-15 season? Step right this way and consider the three Arsenal players of our suggestion.

We shan’t include Aaron Ramsey as he is practically a must at £9m. Anyway, do bear in mind these Gunners-geared Fantasy Premier League tips…

1) Mathieu Debuchy, £5.5m

Arsenal’s back four was for the most part impenetrable against lesser opposition last season, so if they can replicate that then the starting defenders should prove useful options more often than not.

The Gunners’ first-choice defence should remain unchanged other than Debuchy in for Bacary Sagna, and he looks great value for Fantasy money at £5.5m.

Kieran Gibbs might be worth consideration fitness pending as he’s similarly priced, while centre-back duo Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker are not unreasonably priced at £6m.

Don’t be fooled by Calum Chambers’s real life fee of £16m – he can expect to be Debuchy’s understudy for the time being, although if he does sneak in then his Fantasy price of £4.5m could make a bargain of him.

2) Alexis Sánchez, £10.5m

The scorer of 21 goals in all competitions as a Barcelona player last season is also a prolific provider of assists, so the fact that Fantasy Premier League lists him as a midfielder is just begging to be capitalised on – remember, midfielders get more points for goals than forwards.

He may not acclimatise straight away, mind, so approach with caution.

It’s a shame £9m Theo Walcott isn’t fit yet as he offers a priceless degree of productivity and is also listed as a midfielder. Keep an eye out for his return.

3) Jack Wilshere/Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, £6.5m

Whichever one of them is fit at any given time. They’re both the same price, after all.

Both displayed reasonable rates of end product in their sporadic appearances last season and each midfielder is young enough to improve. Injuries permitting.
