Jessica Sanchez Shares Talent and Time With Starkey Hearing ...

Operation Change is on a mission to live up to its name, and it will have a TV audience to watch it try. The new ten-part documentary series is set to premier on the Oprah Winfrey Network on June 23. It follows Steven Sawalich, executive producer of the show, and his parents, Bill and Tani Austin from the Starkey Hearing Foundation, as they seek to bring help to some of the most dangerous and impoverished places in the world.

The Starkey Hearing Foundation was created by Starkey Laboratories, a hearing aid manufacturer, to give away hearing aids to people in need around the world. The nonprofit started Operation Change to expand the reach of its charity work around the globe.

"We work with partners and we find by working together you can have a greater impact in a community as opposed to working separately," Sawalich told Fusion's Jorge Ramos.

They've found many big-name partners to work with like former President Bill Clinton and Sir Elton John. American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez also made an appearance, working with Operation Change in Malaysia to bring people free hearing aids.

"The reason that I am singing is because I can hear, I can hear music," Sanchez told Fusion's Jorge Ramos. "I can hear everything around me, and to give people that gift is just unbelievable and it's amazing."
