Joe Simpson and Tina Simpson's divorce has been EXPLODING with drama and it is FAR from over!
Joe has pushed to move the divorce proceedings to California from Texas in hopes that a Los Angeles judge will be more forgiving of his gay cheating scandal.
Meanwhile, Tina has tried to put the whole break up behind her, already offering Joe $100 million of her $300 million fortune … but that's just not enough for good ole' Joe!
Not only does Joe want more of Tina's money, but also a bigger share of daughter Jessica Simpson's successful fashion line!
A source close to the combative Simpsons said:
“Joe’s desperate to get his hands on the pot of gold and is pushing his lawyers to move the case to Los Angeles. Texas is both a fault and a no-fault divorce state, so he’s concerned that Tina may be favored by a judge there, after all she was the one that filed and is seemingly the wronged party. So, by moving the divorce to California, which is a no-fault divorce state only, Joe thinks he will likely get more sympathetic treatment and hopefully a larger chunk of Tina’s wealth. Last year, Tina’s earnings were in the millions, while Joe only made around $200k,” the source says. “This was down to Tina’s percentage pay from the Jessica Simpson Collection, which she manages."
Doesn't Joe want to keep his dignity!
He cares more about his finances than his own family!
No wonder Jess wants nothing to do with him!
We hope, for Dina's sake, that the judge —in whatever state it may be— sees through Joe's greed so she can FINALLY move on.
