XFactor Top 4 Rankings « My Own Personal Opinion

STOP READING THIS AND GO VOTE FOR FIFTH HARMONY RIGHT NOW!!!!

Oh. Hey. You’re back… GO VOTE FOR FIFTH HARMONY SOME MORE!!!!

Okay, now that you’ve voted for Fifth Harmony non-stop for two hours, you can continue reading:

Simon! He totally sabotaged Fifth Harmony in favor of his little Emblem3! How is he going to give Emblem3 the iconic and foolproof Hey Jude, and then stick Fifth Harmony with that trashy Impossible song! I hate him! I cannot wait for Emblem 3 to lose. Anyway, on to the rankings:

Round 1:

4. Emblem3 (F): Awful. That’s it. There’s nothing more to say. Oh, they looked like they were on drugs. LA Reid sounded like he was on drugs. Britney and Demi are obviously being blackmailed by Simon into saying Emblem3 is good. That, or they realize that Emblem3 has tons of crazy fans, and they don’t want to get on their bad side like I’m most likely doing right now…

3. Carly Rose (B+): Demi is right. This was more of the same. Carly Rose makes Jessica Sanchez from American Idol this year seem extremely versatile. It was really good, but ultimately not very memorable.

2. Tate Stevens (A-): Tate Stevens on the other hand had a very memorable performance. I’m completely the wrong audience for a song about “home-grown hicks,” but it was catchy, and lively, and it was a fun performance. The thing about Tate Stevens is that he looks like a country star up on stage, not like a competitor in a reality show.

1. Fifth Harmony (A+): I believe we have our first moment in the competition! This was incredible. It was fun, it sounded great. I’m completely positive that it’s a huge improvement over the original even though I haven’t heard it. It everything this show should be. They win the whole night!

Round 2:

4. Fifth Harmony (C): Then Simon had to go and ruin it with this impossibly dull song, Impossible. And they sang in Spanish too. Why? This isn’t the Romney campaign, they don’t need Latino votes! This was the complete opposite of the round 1 performance. It was lazy, dull, and forgettable. Of course, it was still vocally superior to anything Emblem3 and Tate Stevens did tonight (or during the whole competition). I am voting for Fifth Harmony; they need to win!

3. Emblem3 (C+): Simon is a genius. How can they go home after doing a merely decent job on Hey Jude. It was vocally atrocious (although one of their best vocal performances. Thank God they didn’t let the third guy sing!), but it’s Hey Jude! Even I loved it! I cannot emphasize how much Simon Cowell sucks for this.

2. Carly Rose (B-): Okay, I’m making a motion to get rid of the song Imagine. Seriously, can we just let it go? It’s 2013, please, let it rest in peace. Anyway, what the heck was that? I agree with Simon. It was all over the place. Why did she scream in the middle of it? Was she alluding to Yoko Ono? The song did not need that. If it had been just her on the piano, it would’ve been fine. But no, she had to overdo it. Good job, Carly.

1. Tate Stevens (A): Tate Stevens wins round 2, and ultimately, let’s face it, the competition. This was a perfect song choice (even more so than Hey Jude, since he could actually sing it). What else can I say? It was good.

Overall:

4. Emblem3

3. Carly Rose

2. Tate Stevens

1. Fifth Harmony

Since the world is horribly unfair, I foresee the overall best act in the whole competition, Fifth Harmony, going home tomorrow. But I do hold some hope that logic prevails and Eblem3 is finally kicked out of the competition. Please, people, I am serious, do the right thing, vote for Fifth Harmony!!
