Weekend Crime Recap: a Taser, One Drive-by and Five Robberies ...


Friday


A man was robbed at gunpoint Friday at 22nd and Mission streets. An unknown suspect entered the workplace of a 26-year-old man, the victim told police he walked to the back of the shop, and the suspect followed, and then pulled a handgun on him demanding cash. The victim complied, and the suspect fled with cash in hand. There have been no arrests, and no injuries were inflicted as a result of the incident.



A robbery with force occurred on Friday evening on Church and 14th streets. A 28-year-old woman was walking northbound on Church street when two men in their 20s approached her from behind and grabbed her person. The first suspect took the victim’s cell phone, and then threw her to the ground, scraping her knees. Both victims fled on foot northbound to Market street.


This incident occurred at 7 p.m. Friday.


Saturday


On Saturday, two women were followed by three men and one female suspects to 16th and Market streets. An altercation arose, and the third suspect subsequently brandished a Taser while her partners took two cell phones, cards and cash from both victims. The suspects fled on foot and via taxi cab, but were later intercepted by responding police units.


This incident occurred at 2:35 a.m.



A 16-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries after being shot early Saturday morning at 24th Street and Potrero Avenue. The teenager was walking with friends when four male suspects approached the group in a sedan vehicle. One suspect fired at the teen with a handgun, and the bullets struck him in the torso. The victim walked to San Francisco General Hospital.


The shooting occurred at 1:22 a.m.



A 62-year-old victim was robbed early on Saturday morning on 22nd Street near South Van Ness Avenue. Three unknown men surrounded the victim and threw him to the ground, later robbing him of his cell phone, wallet and cash. No arrests have been made.


This incident occurred at 2:00 a.m.


Sunday


On Mission Street near 17th Street on Sunday night, two suspects, ages 50 and 30, robbed, punched and kicked a 22-year-old man. The suspects snatched the victim’s mp3 player. The first suspect was arrested, but the second suspect fled the scene. The victim sustained injuries including a possible broken jaw, a cut lip; both were treated at a local hospital.


This incident occurred at 9:37 p.m.
